She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Phillip H. Hasselwander and Camille Ramser Hasselwander; her husband Louis B. Bauer; her children, Daniel L. Bauer (Michelle Reiss), Patrick D. Bauer MD (Cheri), Nancy Bauer of Glen Ellyn, IL and Sara Bauer Thomas (D. Barrett); her granddaughters, Brooke, Allison, Meredith Bauer, Lilly Bauer, Lindsay and Lauren Thomas; her siblings, Phillip H. Hasselwander, Jr. (late Sally) and Mary Lou Davis (late Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Carmel Cox (Clyde), Mary Charlesetta Bauer (late Ray) and Leo D. Bauer (Dorothy). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and Ramser cousins.
