He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Walter and Rosemary Miller Hughes; his sister-in-law Carolyn Hughes; his nephews, Allen Dennis and Albert Waylon Hughes; and his great-niece Ryleigh Ann Cooper.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Hughes (Lisa) and David Hughes (Rhonda) of Lawrenceburg; his nieces and nephews, Beth Hughes Willoughby, Taylor Hughes (Payton), Justin Hughes (Kelcie) and Katelyn Hughes Cooper; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna, Ethan Willoughby, Kensley Hughes, Hunter, Callie Hughes and Brooklyn Cooper.
