He is survived by: his father Virgil Lee Daugherty Sr.; his significant other Brenda Beekman; his son Virgil Blake Daugherty of Covington; his grandsons, Michael Beekman (Sarah McGlothin) of Covington and Joshua Beekman (Desirae) of Ryland Heights; his siblings, Carol Cain (Steve) of Marysville, Jeannie Bunch (Rick) of Russell Springs, Linda Daugherty Alsip of Somerset, Carol Daugherty Siegert (Joe) of Hebron, Mary Daugherty of Somerset, Donna Daugherty Burdine (Tommy) of Somerset, Tonya Capps of Marvelle, Ark and James Price (Marsha) of Shopville; and his close friends, Kenny Mitchem and John Groneck. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
