He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Chaffin, Jr.; his son Taylor Chaffin; and his brother Ron Whitson. He is survived by: his mother Hope Whitson; his son Tommy Lee Chaffin, Jr.; and his siblings, Tim Chaffin, Janie Smith, Randy Whitson and Daniel Mossmon.
