He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Allen; his parents, E. W. Allen and Margaret Allen; his brother Tommy Allen; and his nephew Johnny Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Mike Allen; his siblings, Glenda Thomas, Bill Allen, Bob Allen, Ronnie Allen and John Allen; his stepchildren, Bob Pickett (April) and Melanie Pickett; his stepgrandchildren, William Pickett II and Caitlin McIntosh; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Inman, J. C. Thomas and Steve Thomas. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
