He was predeceased by: his father Walter Timmerding, Jr.; and his son Jamie Lucas Timmerding. He is survived by: his mother Bernadine Timmerding; his partner Angel Shirley; his children, Chris Timmerding (Hannah) and Danielle Timmerding; his siblings, Lisa Kremer (Keith), Walter "Billy" Timmerding, III, Karen Lunsford, Theresa Carson, Brian Timmerding (Robin), Susan Edwards, Cindy Seibel and Tonya Jones (Brad); and his grandchildren, Trent Lucas, Rowan Michael, Findley Robert, Audrey Michelle, Mila Jade and Thomas Kiely. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
