He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret E. McDermott; and his parents, James McDermott and Gertrude McDermott. He is survived by: his sons, Ralph McDermott (Cathy), James McDermott and David McDermott (Patricia). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
