He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Grant and Ellen Carrier Grant; and his siblings, J. W., Christine, Virgil, Jessie, Jr. (Shirley), Cecil (Margie), William "Bill" (Louise), Raymond (Betty), Bessie (Jimmy), Violet (Garnett) and Allen Douglas (Patsy).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jane Hurt Grant; his daughter Mary Ellen Harris (Phillip Harris); his granddaughter Jessica Leigh Harris (Kyle Brusseau); and his siblings, Leslie Grant (Ethel) and Frances King (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
