He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Floyd "Bill" Lear and Margaret Marie Foley Lear; his wife Chellie Jones Lear; and his brother Bob Lear. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lear, Jr. of Lancaster, Chellie Marie Formisano (Joseph), Rebecca Lynn Hoskins (Ronnie) of Tyner and Patricia Sims of Waynesburg; and his brother Donald Lear (Pat Seay) of Junction City. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437).
