He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Downey, Jr. of Lancaster, Eric Christopher Downey of Lancaster and Nathan Patrick Downey of Lancaster; his brother Jasper Downey; his parents, William Wahl and Chris Sellards Wahl; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Roberta Moody.
