He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Ruth Trumbo Warren and J. W., Sr. Warren; his daughter Anjuanette "Doodle Bugs" Hill; his brother-in-law Henry "Huffy" Huffman; and his siblings, Ophelia Huffman, William Otis "Billy" McPherson, O'Neal Ballard and Michael Ballard.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Walker (Lloyd) of Richmond, KY, Trina Warren-Gardner (Virgil) of Richmond, KY and Tammy R. Warren-Wilkinson (James) of Stanford, KY; his godson James L. "Jimmy" Sleet; and his brother Otistis Ballard. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one great-great-grandchild.
