He was predeceased by: his parent Nancy King McQuerry; and his brother James Paxton McQuerry. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his father Earl McQuerry; his sister Rachel Cole (late Gary); his son Elijah Martin McQuerry (Morgan) of Versailles; his stepsons, Matthew Bussell (Valerie) of Broadhead and Blake Dawson of Lancaster; his daughter Scarlet Smothers (Justin) of Danville; his grandchildren, Lucy Sebastian, Sloane McQuerry and Karley Bussell; and his niece Abby Higgins (Brett).
