He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Hardin; and his wife Rosie. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Swope, Dorothy DeLong, Betty Parson and Lois DeLong; and his siblings, Alvin Swope (Phyllis), Bruce Swope, Peggy Moss (late David), Helen Shmutte (Nick) and Janet Anderson (Mike). He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
