He is survived by: his family Richard Carlos Spears; his sister Rita Davis (Burt); his children, Phyllis, Richard "Ric" Jr. (Melissa), Curtis Spears (Alisia) and Steven Spears; and also, Thomas Comstock, Jr., Kelly Turner and Christy Lassandro. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
