She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Cranfill; her sons, Samuel Cranfill and Roger Cranfill; her parents, Delancey Gregory and Effie Gregory; and her siblings, Mel Gregory, Lillard Gregory, Reeves Gregory, Edna Colter, Evelyn Gritton, Lavaughn Keeling and Della Castillo.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Mesker and Chad Cranfill (Lois); her grandchildren, Rachel van Breemen, Natalie Cranfill, Trey Cranfill, Shane Cranfill (Amy), Meg Gatti (Larry), Cara Straub (Rick), Mynette Withers and Neil Mesker (Brittney); and her daughter-in-law Shirley Cranfill. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Nellon's memory to Hosparus of Louisville or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
