She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Lancaster Smith and Mary Sylvia Rapier Smith; her husband Robert "Bob" Wilson; her brothers, William Smith, Rapier Smith and Thomas Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Smith and Violet Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Wilson, Holly Wilson, Valerie Lynn Wilson (O. V.), Mary Sylvia Grant (Jon), Thomas Wilson (Michelle Jacobi) and Therese Pollett (Brandon); her grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Piper and Max; her siblings, Virginia Horlander (David), Bertram Smith, Francis Smith (Lucy) and Pat Smith (Celia); and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Smith and Patsy Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (502 N 5th Ave, La Grange, KY 40031). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Valley of Rest (1411 E Crystal Dr, La Grange, KY 40031).
