She was predeceased by: her husband David Monroe; her daughter Becky Hicks; her parents, Delbert Ellis and Martha Ellis; and her sister Betty Lynn Warren.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Gene Hicks; and her grandchildren, Brad Hicks (Janette) and Sarah Beth Clausen Meade.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts to Hosparus.
