With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Lee Akers (La Grange, Kentucky), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Akers and Pearlie Akers; his wife Emma Jean Akers; his son Dennis Eugene Akers; and his siblings, Viola Harris (Andrew), Charles Akers, Lora Akers and Joe Akers.

He is survived by: his sister Norma Jean Akers; and his sister-in-law Norma Sue Akers. He is also survived by 3 nieces, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to Henry Christian Church in Lester's name.
