She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewie King and Mattie Lay King; her husband Glenn H. Witt; and her children, Diana Kay Grooms and Rick Witt.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Witt (Judy) and Kevin Witt (Deborah); her son-in-law Frank Grooms; her grandchildren, Kim, Kelli, Alecia, Joshua, Jessica, Leslie, Lauren, Jerame, Ricky and Dawson; and her siblings, Yvonne Oerther (Bill), Silas King (Carol) and Tommy King. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial donations can be made in Lavada's name to WHAS Crusade for Children.
