He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudie Timberlake and Helen Irene Allen; and his siblings, Robert Allen, Lynn Allen and Barbara Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Carla Taylor Allen; his children, Bryon Barnett (Maureen), Demetress Harris and Oechsli Allen; his siblings, Connie Allen, Jenifer Drexler (Mike), Janet Timberlake, Ricky Timberlake (Erma), Vincent Timberlake, Craig Timberlake (Belinda), Brede Timberlake and Gwen Applegate; his grandchildren, Anthony, Olivia, Josiah, Jaylon, Senai, Emani Leach and Landon Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Marie Booker, Kay Taylor, Serita Taylor, Perry Taylor and Jerome Taylor; and his aunt Mary Harden (Meme) of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
