With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James L. Brown (La Grange, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Brown and Mildred Brown; and his son-in-law Al Farrell. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Brown; his children, Jaime Brown, James Brown Jr., Joseph Brown (Kristen), Terri Speaks (Jack) and Melissa Farrell; his sister Teana Christopher; and his granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Kennedy, Caroline and Adeline. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, two great nieces; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2835 Flemingsburg Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
