He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Lee Jones and Nellie Mae Jones; his wife Eleanor Jones; and his siblings, Buck Jones, Wanda Chandler, Mattie Hall and Pauline Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Wernert (Tom), Sheila Newton (Billy) and Kathy Jones (Richard); his sisters, Evelyn Fletcher, Marlene Lentz and Deann Jones; and his grandchildren, Jordan Newton (Sarah), Tyler Capps (Brittany), Krysta Borst (David) and Kasey Wernert (McKenzie). He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
