He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanley and Marguerite Thompson Phelan; and his brother Lawrence "Larry" Phelan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thorsen Stanley; his children, Leigh-Anne McClure (Greg), Robert Stanley (Holli) and Donna Moser (Shane); his grandchildren, Tyson, Hayden, Madison, Taylor, Angela, Connor, Logan and Brooklyn (Ian); his great grandchildren, Graham and Sylas; and his brother Charles "Chip" Stanley. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Gordon's deep love and compassion for dogs, his family kindly requests donations in Gordon's honor to the Humane Society of Oldham County, 2601 Interior Way, LaGrange, KY 40031.
