She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Abney; her grandchildren, Nathan Aaron and Emmaline Rose Abney; and her parents, Sam Woosley and Irene Woosley.

She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Abney (Melissa) and Jason Abney; her brothers, Wendell Woosley (Joyce), David Woosley (Nancy) and Cornell Woosley (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Ethan Riley Abney, Fredrick Michael Dunn and Laurel Isabella Abney.
