She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Burkhardt and Gladys M. Jones Burkhardt; her former husband James G. Gossom; her husband Floyd Lichlyter; and her siblings, Agnes Joyce and Kenneth Eugene Burkhardt.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya L. Gossom Nix (Steve) of Milton, KY, James A. "Tony" Gossom (Cacky) of Crestwood, KY and Reggie L. Gossom of Bedford, KY; her sisters, Jackie S. Hudson of Milton, KY and Nancy Jo Gaines of Milton, KY; her sister-in-law Reva Burkhardt of Milton, KY; and her grandchildren, Chris Gossom (Jan) of Madison, IN, Aaron Nix of Milton, KY, Ryan Nix (Lindsay) of Jeffersonville, IN, Laurie Nix Bump (Brendon) of Jeffersonville, IN, Catharine Horner (Brad) of Buckner, KY and Sarah Stucker (Brian) of Crestwood, KY. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Mt. Byrd Christian Church or the Alzheimer's Research or Dementia Association in the care of the funeral home.
