It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Jones Risinger (La Grange, Kentucky), who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Meredith and Grace Meredith; her husband David Risinger; and her sisters, Charlene Sharp and Sissy Parrish.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Newton (Bill), Sandy Wernert (Tom) and Kathy Jones (Richard Michalski); her grandchildren, Jordan Newton (Sarah), Krysta Wernert (David Borst), Tyler Capps and Kasey Wernert; her great grandchildren, Peyton Young, Copeland Newton, Harlow Newton and Luke Borst; and her siblings, Peter Meredith (Dorothy), Tommy Meredith (Terri), Ronnie Meredith (Carla), Gene Meredith (Nat), Carl Ray Meredith, Eva Walton and Linda Bradshaw (Brad). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations can be made in her name to ASPCA or Kentucky Humane Society.
