He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Carlson and Lucille Carlson; his siblings, Sue Puig and Jim Carlson; his granddaughter Ella Westcot; and his parents-in-law, Anthony and Loretta Golden.
He is survived by: his wife CJ Carlson (Carol); his siblings, Wayne Carlson (Gerald) of Laguna and Mag Donaldson (Barb) of San Francisco; his sister-in-law Janet Deziel (Chuck) of Baraga; and his nieces, Myranda Deziel of L'Anse and Jessica Deziel-Budzil of Minnesota.
