She was predeceased by: her parents, W. R. Polk and Dorris Rushing Polk; her husband James Charlie Bynum; her son Allen Bynum; and her brothers, Troy, Charles and Harold Polk.
She is survived by: her children, Yvette Youngblood of Kuttawa and Joe Bynum (Vicki) of Lyon County; her siblings, April Woodall (Tracy) of Fredonia, Martha Bynum of Fredonia, Gregg Polk (Deloris) of Fredonia and Rodney Polk (Betty) of Kuttawa; and her grandchildren, Steven Youngblood, Michael Youngblood (Tammy), Stephanie Birdsong, James Charlie Bynum and Matthew Bynum. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (1133 US-62, Eddyville, KY 42038). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
