He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Bird, Sr. and Loritta Tourtlott Hugard; and his sister Sharon Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Barcas Bird of Kuttawa, KY; his daughters, Cheryl Esparza of Bolingbrook, IL, Nina Mendez (Authur) of Racine, WI and Christy Malhotra (Rajat) of Skokie, IL; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Esparza, Carly Esparza, Nina Malhotra and Priana Malhotra. He is also survived by three nieces.
