He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Smith and Margaret Early Smith; his brother Larry Smith; and his pet Katie. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Timmons Smith of Kuttawa; his daughters, Tammy Johnstone of Lexington, Susan Thomas of Paducah and Lelia Jackson of Laguna; his stepson Adam Burgdolf of Lexington; and his sister Patty Littlepage of Princeton. He is also survived by six granddaughters and one grandson, and 15 great grandchildren.
