He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Engler and Naomi Peek Engler. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Engler of University Park, PA; and his siblings, William Engler of Louisville, Wanda Cotton of Eddyville, Linda Duff of Kuttawa and Shirley Gentry of Eddyville.

The family has asked that donations be made to Macedonia Cemetery c/o Randy Armstrong 1620 Martin Chapel Rd. Kuttawa, KY 42055 to offset interment expenses.
