He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Dewayne Newell and Sharlotte Ann Linn Newell; and his brother Jeffrey Dewayne Newell. He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Brandenburg (Anthony) of Cadiz and Samantha Stewart (Joseph) of Cadiz; his siblings, Jamie Hammons of Eddyville, Debbie Stewart of Paducah and David Newell of Eddyville; and his grandchildren, Madeline Sherill, Ethan McQuigg, Jacob Stewart, Jenna Stewart and Emmy Brandenburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
