He was predeceased by: his parents, James Artis and Viola Crenshaw Jones; and his brother Isiah Jones. He is survived by: his wife Stella Rowlett Jones; his daughters, Vanessa Jones (Andrew) of Brentwood, Faye Cockroft (LeRoy) of Louisville, Rochelle Brown (Jay) of Knob Lick and Vickie Williams (Maurice) of Louisville; and his sister Joyce Barnes (Paul) of Bowling Green.
