He was predeceased by: his parents, Oconal Tucker and Gussie Tucker (Perkins); his daughter Connie Woodrum; and his siblings, Joene Tucker, Treva Warren, Norma Jean Tucker and Herman Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Tucker (Hovious); his children, Neal Tucker (Faye) of Knifley, Nancy Tucker of Campbellsville, Sue Tucker Buley (David) of Columbia and Ashley Tungate (Buck) of Elk Horn; his siblings, Mae Sneed of Knifley and Danny Tucker (Esther) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Crystal Hadley, Hannah Coyt, Eric Hovious, Chastity Lampley, Josh Streeval, James Walker, John Walker, Victoria "Peanut" Tungate, Abby Gail and Nineteen; and his close friend Bryant Metzler of Nashville.
