He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Rice and Hester Salyers Rice; his wife Marcella Thornsberry Rice; his daughters, Anna Hall (Michael), Gwendolyn McIntyre (Gary) and Melinda Johnson (Terry); his grandchildren, Maranda Williams (Justin), Marlea Cornett (Mike), Brandon Hall (Kisha), Zachary Hall (Andrea) and Nickolus Hall (Tamarah); and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Kylan, Gavin, Braydon, Brevin, Kagan and Everleigh.
