He was predeceased by: his father John Kunkel; and his wife Betty Kunkel. He is survived by: his children, Chris Kunkel (Dawn) of Kirksey, Jeff Kunkel, Mike Kunkel (Donna), Michelle Kunkel, Judy Kunkel (Robert) and Julia Kunkel of Utah; and his siblings, Dale, John, Joel Kunkel, Joann Coombs and Joani Dewolf. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
