She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ova Sims Padgett and Hershel "Dee"; her grandson Colin Ryan Rice; her son Jonathan Rice (Maylanie) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; the father of her child Charley Bob Rice of Centere, Alabama; and her siblings, Joey Padgett (Gidget) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Rodney Padgett (Arlene) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Darlene Padgett of Waynesburg, Connie Gonzalez of Waynesburg, Kathy Padgett of Waynesburg, Marilyn Padgett of Waynesburg, Hershel "Junior" Padgett Jr. and Peggy Rogers. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
