She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reece and Emma Falconbury Reece; her husband Tony Hatter; and her siblings, Opal Hannah, Frank Reece, Pearl Short, Elveree Hatter and Magdalene Sims.

She is survived by: her son David Joe Hatter (Beverly) of Kings Mountain; her grandchildren, David Hatter (Megan), Jonathan Hatter (Nicole), Ashley Hatter and Chelsea Hatter; and her great grandchildren, Graison Bradburn, Kaylin Bradburn and Ian Hatter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
