He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sparkmon and Maggie Boggs Sparkmon; his sister Dorene Singleton; his nephew Jason Sparkmon; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Austin and Gail Sparkmon.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Seward Sparkmon; his stepson Steven Rohland of Waynesburg, Kentucky; and his siblings, Kelly Sparkmon of Walltown, Orlis Sparkmon (Becky) of Highland, Glyn Sparkmon of Waynesburg, Lillie Forste (Herb) of South Carolina, Phyllis Austin of Walltown, Sandra Johnson of Stanford and Beverly Morgan (Jimmy) of Waynesburg.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Friend Funeral Home (545 KY-328, Waynesburg, KY 40489). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
