It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shara Colette Abbott of Kimper, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alvis and Evelene Thacker (Adkins). She is survived by: her husband Jason Abbott; her son Matthew Abbott; her stepson Jordan Abbott of Pikeville, KY.; her siblings, Ricky James Thacker of Phyllis, KY., Melenna Thacker of Phyllis, KY. and Angie Bowman of Phyllis, KY.; and her close friends, Kenny and Crystal Cox. She is also survived by three Nephews, three nieces, two great nephews and five great nieces.
