He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hurley and Deloris Bentley; and his siblings, Benny Lee Hurley, Sherry, Sophie and Judy Hurley.
He is survived by: his wife Jonnie Hurley of Kimper, KY; his children, Rickey Paul Hurley (Amie) of Turkey Creek, KY, Samuel James Hurley of Phelps, KY, Benjamin Lee Ruvolo Hurley of Tennessee, Jacob Dean Ruvolo Hurley of Kimper, KY, Shandy Hurley of Williamson, WV and Breanna Hurley (Ryan Lester); his sisters, Patsy Coleman of Phelps, KY and Lenore Hurley of Phelps, KY; his former wife Janetta Dotson; his grandchildren, Natilee Lester, Levi Scott Lester, Katlyn Hurley and David Ruvolo Hurley; his nieces and nephews, Donathon Hurley, Shane, Megan Hurley, Gena, Ethan Coleman, Matthew Robinette, Justin, Charley Justice and Danielle Bishop; his friends, Michael Hunter, Rocky Maynard, Julia, Farley Lee and Bruce Smith; and his brothers, Buddy and Michael Gannon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & West Funeral Home (37035 KY-194, Phelps, KY 41553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
