She was predeceased by: her parents, Sid Varney and Marie Varney (Leedy); her husband Adala Turnmire; and her siblings, Ralph Douglas Varney, Richard Varney, Linda Jean Hess, Shirley Hess, Pamela Varney and Grace Varney.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Turnmire (Christina) of Pinson Fork, Ronnie Turnmire of Louisville, KY, Holly Turnmire (Tyler) of Lexington, KY and Maxie Turnmire (Curtis) of Kimper, KY; her sisters, Sandra Leedy of Pikeville, KY and Jennifer Parks of Morgantown, WV; and her grandchild Aragorn Clemons.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (4902 Zebulon Hwy, Raccoon, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
