He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carol Charles (Leedy) of Kimper, KY; his children, Tilden Ray Charles of Kimper, KY, Luly Ann Moss (Lester) of Paint Lick, KY and Melissa Bartley; his brothers, Herbert Charles of Clay City, KY and John Paul Charles of Phelps, KY; his grandmothers, Lee Bentley of Phelps, KY and Bessie Nelson of Stone, KY; and his grandchildren, Xander, Zachariah, Dwayne Moss, Sierra Hatfield and Tasha Watson.
