He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Dean and Emogene Kiser Thacker; and his siblings, Carolyn Sue Pinion, Albert Lee Thacker, Brenda Rich and Ray Elmer Thacker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Benedict (Jim) and Erica Thacker (Johnathan); his grandchildren, Chase Benedict, Braxton Skeens and Harlow Skeens; his children, Hannah and Landen Flanery; his siblings, Sarah "Perky" Rose, Dean Thacker, Bobby Jean Goff and John Buck Thacker; and the mother of his children Tracy Varney. He is also survived by friends, nieces, and nephews.
