Alice Marie Collins Deskins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Marie Collins Deskins of Kimper, Kentucky, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Collins and Margie Dotson Collins; her husband Ben Bevins Deskins; her son Ben Randall "Randy" Deskins; her great grandchild Chanston Ford; and her siblings, L. C. Potter, John D. Potter, Ruby Vipperman and Ida Preece.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Legg (William "Jerry") of Alum Creek; her sisters, Ernestine Hunt of Kimper and Edith Hutchinson of Tazewell, Virginia.; her granddaughter Christie Burchett Wood (James); and her great grandchild Jonathan Hunter Ford.
In lieu of flowers the family re quests that donations be made in Alice's memory to the Hospice Care of Charleston WV, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W, Charleston, WV 25387.
