She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Shelby and Floyd Shelby; her husband James Vaughn; her brother Glenn Shelby; her nephew Glenn Allan Shelby; and her brother-in-law Elmo Lester.
She is survived by: her sister Lana Shelby Lester; her niece Sonya Lester Jackson (Ryan); and her great-niece Shelby-Jo Heine (Mason) of Kevil.
