She is survived by: her husband George Benton of Kevil; her children, James Benton of Kevil, KY, Chris Benton (Michelle) of Kevil, KY and Lesley Rushing (Shawn) of Kevil; her brother Travis McWhirter of Alabama; and her grandchildren, Nicole Donoho, Hunter Benton, Tiffany Benton, Teanna Hamilton, Trevon Rushin and Preston Rushing. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrow Funeral Chapel (376 W Kentucky Dr, La Center, KY 42056). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
