He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Wallen Dowdy. He is survived by: his father Don Dowdy; his wife Beth Jenkins Dowdy; his son Chad Dowdy of Kevil; his siblings, Susan Fabian of Atlanta, Georgia and David Dowdy of Brookport, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Morris of Atlanta, Trevor Jenkins of Symsonia, Danielle Jenkins of Symsonia and Jayda Jenkins of Arlington.
