It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Henry Smith of Kettle Island, Kentucky, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Birchel Smith and Nannie Baker Smith; and his siblings, Ray, Ralph, May DeAnna and Wilma.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ann Blanton Smith; his children, Priscilla Byrd, Tammy Slusher and William Dale Smith; his niece Christine Blanton; and his close friends, Virgie Dell and Wayne Grace. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
