He was predeceased by: his parents, Letcher Bailey and Hila Baker Bailey; his son Robert Bailey; and his siblings, Jimmy Bailey, A. J. Bailey, Melvin Bailey, Walter Bailey and Gertrude Bailey.
He is survived by: his sons, William Bailey, Harley Lee Bailey and Michael Bailey; and his grandchildren, Donna (Donnie Brashears) and Everett "Will" (Haley Bailey). He is also survived by two great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews; other relatives, and friends.
